/h1n1so right now I'm on like 4-5 different meds so I can type and sit up and stuff
but uugh sdfa I MIGHT have swine flu lmfao..
A couple days ago I had to bike in heavy rain (twice) since I didn't have a ride home/money for the bus lol
& then I was hella busy with meetings and homework and shit. But me, believing that I have an awesome extra strong immune system, truly believed that I wouldn't get sick ..!
But I started to get sick on Thursday.. just a cold, yeah, but on Friday I was feeling super shitty but I had an important paper due & I wanted perfect attendance so I went to school anyway .. after that, I had a meeting, felt really bad afterward and went home to take a nap..
Saturday, I still wasn't better, but I tried to do my Physics homework, felt nauseous, tried Calculus, felt like really throwing up, went to bed, mom took me to the urgent care place she works at and while I was sitting in the waiting room, I started choking and suffocating omg it was so fucking scary I seriously thought I was going to die. I kept choking and my mom told me to throw up in the bathroom lsdkfj but yeah luckily it went away by the time I found the bathroom
Finally I get into the clinic and they take my temp, etc, I had a 104.3 degree fever and was super dehydrated (even though I drank like 5 bottles of water a day ..) so they wanted to give me an IV, except my mom's insurance doesn't cover it ! wtf but yeah they said I might have the swine flu. They gave me some meds and asked if I had a strong stomach, I said idk and they said well, just try it and see what happens..
I took one and like 10 minutes later I threw up, but I actually made it to the sink this time ! ahaha /proud
Today I went to another place & they didn't have IV so they tested me for Influenza A, which was not very pleasant >> they said I also might have swine flu & that I'm not allowed to go to school on Monday & possibly for the next 2-5 days also.
This is the shittiest timing too ! I have 4 tests next week and I've been so sick that I didn't have time to study & I have so much homework to do alskjfsfff /mad
So moral of the story, take care of yourself .. I honestly thought I'd never get the flu because I really do have a strong immune system haha, but you never know.
